Despicable Me

Steve Carell, star of the animated Horton Hears a Who! and Over the Hedge will be bringing his voice talents to another animated feature.  The Universal Pictures film, titled Despicable Me, is scheduled to hit theaters in 2010.  It’s about a trio of orphan girls who cause the normally deplorable Groo to rethink his plan to steal the moon.

As reported last week, Jar Jar made an appearance in this past weekend’s episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.  In the show, Jar Jar paired up with C-3PO, as the two travel to save Padme.  Jar Jar doesn’t have the best reputation amongst Star Wars fans, but apparently his appearance in the Cartoon Network show went better than expected.  What’d you think?

Batman: the Brave and the Bold has been running for a few weeks now, and it’s given users a chance to soak in this latest version of the Caped Crusader.  Well, now that you’ve seen in, ToonBarn wants to know if you like it?  Which Batman is more your style, the Batman from “the Brave and the Bold” or the Batman from “Justice League Unlimited” (who is also the Batman from “Batman: the Animated Series”.  Which is your favorite?

Bolt charges to a big weekend


Bolt had an impressive opening weekend in theaters over the past few days, raking in over $26 million dollars.  Amazingly enough, that wasn’t enough for first or second place, as those honors went to Twilight and Quantum of Solace, the new James Bond movie.  But Bolt held it’s own against these amazingly tough odds with millions of fans lending a hand.  …or paw!  Did you see it yet?
