Make an Adventure Time Game in 48 Hours!
A last-minute event has been added to the slate of the upcoming Fantastic Arcade Celebrations in Austin, TX: a 48 hr game jam where participants are going to attempt to create games based on the Cartoon Network hit show Adventure Time.
Titled Adventure Time Game Making Frenzy, the event will run from September 14 to 16, and is open to anyone in the world. Developers based in Austin will get a dedicated space. Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward himself supports the event, and has tweeted:
“Guys, this is maybe the coolest Adventure Time thing.. for me…I’m super excited about this.”
There’s no announcement on what will happen to the completed entries, but I sure hope we get a chance to play with them all. I’m sure anyone who loves Adventure Time has taste and creativity to spare, couple that with enough coding skills to create a game in 2 days and maybe we’ll have a pretty fun Adventure Time game to play with.
