Cartoon Network previews the end of Adventure Time
We’ve known that 2018 marks the end of Adventure Time and now Cartoon Network is teasing it. Described as “The Ultimate Adventure,” the cable channel has released a key image and promotional trailer hyping up the final for episodes of Pendelton Ward’s animated series.
Cartoon Network did not share when exactly the finale “Come Along with Me” would air, though it’s expected sometime later this year. The promotion comes just after the channel aired the preceding batch of four episodes earlier this month.
That said, this doesn’t mean you won’t see Finn and Jake in other adventures. An Minecraft Adventure Time crossover episode is scheduled to debut sometime this summer.
Since premiering on April 5, 2010, Adventure Time has run for 10 seasons and over 280 episodes. The series has inspired comics, video games, toys, apparel and more merchandise than anyone could ever count. The show was developed by Frederator Studios and is produced by Cartoon Network.
