CN Launches Adventure Time Virtual Reality Game

Fans of Adventure Time, particularly those who enjoy games, will be glad to know that Cartoon Network is throwing all of you another bone. A virtual reality bone! According to their most recent announcement, a new game called Adventure Time: Magic Man’s Head Games will be launched through the mobile platform and will deliver the first ever virtual reality game experience based on a TV franchise.

Adventure Time: Magic Man’s Head Games will emulate the look of the TV series and will feature an original story voiced by the cast of the show. The gameplay takes its cues from classic 3D platformers while featuring combat mechanics that leverage the strengths of the best VR technology.

“Core to Cartoon Network’s strategy is our commitment to innovate and expand our content offerings and distribution platforms so that fans can immerse themselves in our brands and characters however and whenever they choose,” said Christina Miller, President and GM, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Boomerang. “This first-to-market virtual reality game joins a roster of other industry-leading apps and digital experiences that have made Cartoon Network the first-choice for plurals looking for highly-engaging games and new content experiences.”
