New Multiplatform Adventure Time Game Released

Fans of Pendleton Ward’s hit animated fantasy comedy series Adventure Time should rejoice, as D3Publisher and Cartoon Network Enterprises has just released a new game titled Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!

Notice how I used the term “fans” instead of specifying only the ones who own a specific gaming device? It’s because Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW! is a multiplatform release that will cover a wide range of devices and platforms including the Wii U, Xbox 360, and PS3. If you’re reading this from your PC, you’re also covered because there is also a Windows port. There’s a Nintendo 3DS port, which is going to be cheaper at $29.95 SRP compared to the $39.95 SRP that the other ports command (though there is a $39.95 Collector’s Edition that includes a limited edition BMO package design in a glossy premium SteelBook case, and a bonus DVD.)

Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW! is an action adventure game that features a storyline penned by series creator Pendleton Ward himself, and tasks players with helping Princess Bubblegum save the Candy Kingdom by exploring the mysteries surrounding a massive Secret Royal Dungeon. Players can expect the same amount of action, wit, and visually arresting visuals that made the previous game, Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!!, such a great videogame representation of the show.
