Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition) Starter Packs Are Now On Sale

I’m still not sold on Disney Infinity being labeled as a Free to Play game, because I tried it and the experience you’ll get if you haven’t plunked down money on it is a Demo at best. Still, it’s vastly improved over the initial release and there’s a really engrossing action RPG game in there somewhere (especially if you’re a fan of Marvel properties), so it’s still worth recommending. Just be prepared to spend some moolah if you want to actually play a full game.

That being said, people who do want to spend money on the game will now be able to do so on a more cost-effective means as the starter packs for Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition has been put on sale.

Award Winning Sci-Fi Short: Cyborg vs. Space Jesus

Filmmaker/animator Mark Juhasz has just posted the online premiere for his animated short, titled ‘CARL.’ While the description “cyborg gladiator vs. space jesus” may fool you into thinking that this is a wacky humorous short, it’s a straight action-packed sci-fi piece that sorta reminds you of Aeon Flux, maybe not in art style but in the execution of the narrative.

The official synopsis from the creator:

The duel of Carl (Robot-Gladiator-Champion) and Space Jesus gets interrupted by a Techno-Angel, who awakens the human-side of CARL. So he changes sides and goes head to head against Drill-Raptors, EggBeater-Scorpions and a mighty BBQ-Octopus.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Clip Revealed

The PS360HD2 Youtube channel has recently revealed the first gameplay footage for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, featuring a short clip of Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha fighting. The clip doesn’t show much (and could even be mistaken for a clip from Revolutions if you’re not paying attention to details) except for the fact that they now seem to have access to new impressive looking moves. You can check out the clip below:

Kung Fu Panda 3 Backs Down From Star Wars: The Force Awakens

DreamWorks Animation and partner 20th Century Fox have recently pushed back the release date for Kung Fu Panda 3, changing its schedule from December 23, 2015 to March 18, 2016. Not that anybody will be surprised, but the reason for the delay is Fox not wanting to compete for the box office against the juggernaut that is J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which opens on December 18, 2015.

Is it Berenstein or Berenstain?

Quick, try to remember if it was Berenstein Bears or Berenstain Bears. No cheating, don’t look at any books or images yet. If you’re one of the many who remember it as Berenstein, go ahead and do a google image search. Try to find a single book cover or image that spells it as “-stein.” Chances are you’re not going to find any. Every single image you have will have spell it as Berenstain, after the writers’ surname.

The fine folks at Godlike Productions happened upon this phenomenon. It seems like there are a lot of people who remember the Berenstein spelling, although not a single one has found proof that it was ever spelled that way and not Berenstain. Even fellow toonbarn contributor Neil once made a post where he spelled it as Stein, even though the quoted message on the post spells it as Stain.
