Fans Can Select Cover Art for Legend of Korra Game

Yesterday, we posted a blog entry about an upcoming action game based on The Legend of Korra franchise, which is being developed by Platinum Games and published by Activision. Now, Activision and Nickelodeon have jointly announced additional details about the game, particularly a new contest that will let fans join in on the creative process.

According to the announcement, fans of The Legend of Korra will be given a chance to choose the cover art that will be used for the video game, based on a voting system that lets people choose between three different concepts drawn by one of the show’s character designers, Christie Tseng. To join in on the fun, Korra fans can visit www.facebook.com/legendofkorra to cast their vote. Voting will run through June 30 at midnight PST.

The Legend of Korra videogame is slated for a fall 2014 release and will be multiplatform, with ports coming to the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows PC. There will also be a handheld Legend of Korra game developed for the Nintendo 3DS by webfoot Technologies, which will feature a story similar to the console versions, but will use a turn based strategy RPG engine.
