Batman vs. Superman Gets Official Title – Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice
While people have already become comfortable with referring to the upcoming Man of Steel sequel as Batman vs. Superman, it’s still common knowledge that it’s just a working title and that Warner Bros. plans to give it an official one. Now, Warner Bros has finally come through and announced an official title to Zack Snyder’s DC superhero extravaganza. The title? Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Additionally, it’s also been announced that principal photography will be kicking off in Detroit this week, with industry insiders speculating that the movie will be a set up for the as-yet untitled Justice League film, which is also being helmed by Snyder.
Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice will star Ben Affleck as Batman, while Henry Cavill will reprise his role as the last son of Krypton; they will be joined by Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Amy Adams, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne will also be returning to reprise their roles from Man of Steel, and they will be joined by Jeremy Irons, who will play the role of Alfred.
