Conan O’ Brien to Join The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 Cast
Critically acclaimed talk show host and comedian Conan O’Brien will be joining the voice cast of Warner’s 2013 animated film The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 as he plays the role of talk show host David Endocrine, who is described as the first person to find out that the Joker’s homicidal tendencies have not been lessened or dulled by time. The Joker will be voiced by Lost’s Michael Emerson, while Superman will be voiced by Mark Valley.
O’Brien noted, “I’ve got a great affection for animation…I’ve always been interested in drawing, and I grew up on the Warner Bros. cartoons — which is where I think I learned a lot of my comedy. I think I got a lot of my comedic timing from the Road Runner and Bugs Bunny cartoons.”
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 still features the voice of Peter Weller as Batman, Michael McKean as the Joker’s doctor. The film will be available on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download in early 2013.
