First info for Ben 10 PS4/Xbox One/Nintendo Switch game

With a second Ben 10 season on the way, a mobile game available to download, and toys on the shelves, it was only a matter of time before we’d get news on the first new console video game for Cartoon Network’s rebooted action comedy animated series. Published by Outright Games, the new title is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch at Torus Games in Australia.

It’s Hero Time! Some of Ben’s most infamous villains are back, and they’re threatening the world- and it’s up to you to stop them. Unlock and transform into all 10 of Ben’s alien forms as you take on dangerous opponents like Zambezi, Queen Bee, and the Weather heads, and save the day with a combination of explosive combat and fun, mind-bending puzzles as you unravel three all-new episodes.

The game appears to be another action brawler.

Earlier iterations of Ben 10 inspired a litany of video games across PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo Wii U. The most recent game prior to this was Ben 10: Omniverse 2, which launched in 2014. It was published by Little Orbit and Bandai Namco, with development handled primarily by High Voltage Software. Outright’s title will be the first time the franchise hits current generation platforms.

The new Ben 10 video game has a tentative release date of October 31st and will retail for $40.
