Shocksquatch ready to get Ultimate

Heroes United introduces Shocksquatch to Ben 10 Ultimate Alien

Shocksquatch ready to get Ultimate

If you think the only exciting thing about the Ben 10-Generator Rex crossover is seeing the teenaged Ben Tennyson team up with (and fight) Rex Salazar, you should prepare to expand your list! Why? Because that awesome two-part crossover episode, Heroes United, also introduces a brand new Ben 10 alien form – the Shocksquatch! OK, so the name isn’t all that intimidating, and at first glance, he appears to be a big teddy bear. But, let’s take a deeper look at what this new guy can bring to the table of Ultimate Alien!

Arise - a Yeti

Arise ...a Yeti?

For those of you that play Cartoon Network’s Titanic Kungfubot Offensive online game, you might recognized Shocksquatch, who has previously appeared as a bot. But the bot version doesn’t compare to the one you’ll see in Heroes United, who is way cooler – a stocky, muscular yeti-like alien that has a hairy, white-toned upper body and a darker, blue-gray lower half. Streaky bolt designs are repeated through his fur, particularly on its hands and jaw, while the traditional Ultimatrix symbol remains prominently displayed on its chest.

But let’s get to the real focus here: the alien’s abilities! The Shocksquatch can release powerful bolts of yellow electrical charges from his body; strong enough to stun and electrocute creatures much larger than him. While perhaps not as versatile as Brainstorm’s electrokinesis, it certainly is a more powerful, potent attack. It’s almost as if Shocksquatch brings along the power of Pikachu! So, in essence, Heroes United doesn’t only combine Ben 10 and Generator Rex, there’s also a touch (a shocking touch!) of Pokemon in there!
