E3 2011: Nintendo Wii U Revealed

Nintendo recently revealed their new console Wii 2 – well actually its now known as Nintendo Wii U. The new console comes with a very interesting controller. The controller is like an iPad but better, With this you can sit and watch your own screen while your friends and or family play on the television screen with their “wiimotes,” and when your parents, girlfriend, boyfriend, or other friend want to bug you about interrupting your game to watch some boring movie or show (unless it’s animated!) you can easily switch from the television screen right on to your Wii U controller and continue on playing from there. Now you can play your favorite games such as Kirby, Zelda, Pokemon, Mario without being interrupted. You can video chat with friends and family, draw on it and wait, there’s more!

In addition to Mario and the rest of the Nintendo gang, just imagine how awesome every new animated title will be on the system? From Transformers to Beyblade to Ben 10 and beyond.

One demo showed an HD battle between an HD Link and an HD spider… HD! All in the design style of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Other demos during the big reveal announcement included Battle Mii, which converted Mii avatars into Samus Aran of Metroid fame. Everything thus far revealed at E3 2011 for the new Nintendo console has just been a demo, but we’re promised games are deep in the works, with the system ready for a 2012 launch.
