Disney Planning Incredibles Sequel, Cars 3

Cars

According to a recent report by Variety, Walt Disney’s CEO Bob Iger has confirmed that Pixar is planning to produce a 3rd installment for its popular Cars franchise as well as a sequel to the breakout hit The Incredibles. Iger confirmed the plans during the company’s shareholders meeting in Portland, Oregon.

Aside from the planned new films, Disney is also planning to bolster the franchises by releasing The Incredibles and Ratatouille in 3D, an approach that has proven itself to be successful with Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., and Finding Nemo.

Pixar’s 2015 slate is also going to be busy, with new IPs Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur, scheduled. 2016 will be headlined by the Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory.
