We Bare Bears and Powerpuff Girls Panels Debut on San Diego Comic-Con

Last Saturday, CN presented a back-to-back panel show featuring 2 of its famous cartoon franchises, The Powerpuff Girls and We Bare Bears. Both are going to be having their San Diego Comic-Con debuts with their first proper panels. Behind the scenes insights and never before seen footage were shown to the audiences in the Indigo Ballroom.

Series creator and Annie Award winner Daniel Chong represented We Bare Bears together with Lauren Sassen (storyboard artist), Mikey Heller (series writer), Manny Hernandez (director) and voice actors Bobby Moynihan (Panda), Eric Edelstein (Grizzly) and Demetri Martin (Ice Bear). Lauren Sassen performed a live illustration and an Icy Nights sneak peek was also shown to the fans.

The Powerpuff Girls panel features Nick Jennings, executive producer and Bob Boyle, co-executive producer. It also includes writer Jake Goldman and Haley Mancini (voice of Princess Morbucks) together with voice actors Kristen Li (Bubbles), Amanda Leighton (Blossom), Natalie Palamides (Buttercup) and Tom Kenny (The Narrator, The Mayor). A sneak peek of The Big Sleep episode was also shown.
