Immortals Director wants to make a Samurai Jack movie

Breaking: Samurai Jack will Return to Adult Swim and Toonami in 2016.


So… i was just checking the twitter feeds, and in full disclosure i do follow one of the co creators of Toonami. So the announcement has come out on the Toonami Tumblr page:

“Adult Swim is excited to announce that JACK IS BACK. Creator and executive producer Genndy Tartakovsky continues the epic story of Samurai Jack with a new season of episodes that will premiere on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in 2016.”

The new season is currently in production in Los Angeles at Cartoon Network Studios.

Not only that: They showed a New Preview of the series which was only in sixteen seconds.

No other announcements as of yet, but this is HUGE.
