Bugs and Daffy hit the DMV

Bugs and Daffy hit the DMV on Cartoon Network's The Looney Tunes Show

Depending on where you live, your 15th, 16th, or 17th birthday is something you really look forward to, as that is the first day you’re allowed to legally get your driver’s license and drive a car. Tuesday September 20th might not be all of their birthdays, but it seems many characters from the Looney Tunes Show are heading over to the DMV to make sure they’re cleared to be behind the wheel: and most of them are far from it! For example, when Daffy takes Bugs to the movies, he drives his parade float through a few stop signs – this doesn’t exactly please the cops! Soon enough, he’s at the DMV with everyone else, trying to make the grade. Walking was probably a better choice for them, but we’ll drive over to our TVs on September 20th at 8pm and park in front of Cartoon Network to see how it all turns out on The Looney Tunes Show: DMV.

For anyone hitting a DMV before, you can relate to the madness. OK, so maybe your local establishment isn’t as zany as the on on Looney Tunes, or maybe you don’t happen to know of any living cartoon characters, but still!

First off, when Bugs and Daffy get pulled over, you’d think the first thing the cop would ask is why a duck and a bunny were driving a car. But lets skip that nonsense, and you can see why the cop was upset with Daffy’s parade float.

Porky’s crime was that his license had expired, but at least he had one! Lola’s crime, on the other hand (paw?) is a little more dubious, running through a red light without even having a license.

After all is said and done, it appears that Bugs is the only crime-free member of the show. It seems he wont have to take the written test or driving test with Yosemite Sam, as his record is clear. …that is until Bugs tries to drive Porky home, and crosses the double yellow lines. Oh, and it turns out he left his wallet at home, along with his driver’s license. Perfect.
