Cartoon Network to Deliver New Season of Annoying Orange
This May 16, Thursday, at 7:30 PM ET/PT, the hit youtube phenomenon-turned-hit TV show Annoying Orange will be returning to Cartoon Network for another season of fresh produce-themed comedy. The series’ first season managed to attract close to 2 million viewers so it’s not a surprise that it’s back for a second run-around.
The 2nd season of The Annoying Orange will feature a star-studded list of guest voices featuring including Dave Grohl, Kylie Minogue, Kellan Lutz, Olivia Munn, Rainn Wilson, Al Yankovic, Gilbert Gottfried, David Cross, Jack McBrayer, Carl Edwards, Maria Menounos and Kendall Jenner.
The Annoying Orange show was co-created by Dane Boedigheimer, who created the viral hit web series the show is based on, and Tom Sheppard (Pinky and the Brain). Michael Green, Gary Binkow and Dan Weinstein of The Collective serve as executive producers. In addition to its broadcast and online presence, Annoying Orange has been squeezing in merchandising deals for toys, apparel, publishing, and more. The first season of The High Fructose Adventure of Annoying Orange is also coming to DVD on May 28.
