Comedy Renewals on the Cartoon Network

Fresh off their impressive October 1 season four debut and their 2012 Emmy win, Cartoon Network’s hit animated comedy series Regular Show has been picked up for its fifth season, as part of Cartoon Network’s renewed campaign to bolster their comedy bench.

In addition to the 5th season of Regular Show, Cartoon Network is also bringing back the Amazing World of Gumball for its third season, as well as the Youtube sensation Annoying Orange for more episodes.

The Regular Show features a 6 ft tall blue jay named Mordecai and a hyperactive raccoon named Rigby, who both work as groundskeepers at a park. New episodes of Regular Show air Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The Amazing World of Gumball follows the daily misadventures of 12 year old Gumball and his family in the weird town of Elmore, featuring a stellar cast of characters that includes a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a cheerleading peanut, and a banana. Catch premiere episodes of The Amazing World of Gumball Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT.
