Justice League Action Clip – Zombie King

Warner Bros. Animation is currently in the process of teasing fans of Justice League Action, which is done by releasing a bunch of new stills and a video clip for the latest episode, titled “Zombie King.” The episode is written by Paul Dini and will air this coming Saturday, February 4, at 7:30 AM on Cartoon Network.

The curiously titled “Zombie King” episode focuses on the zombie supervillain Solomon Grundy, who managed to escape his Louisiana prison intent on raising an army of the dead from the graves, using a magical crystal that just so happened to give him the ability to do so. The only ones who stand in his way are Batman and the Swamp Thing.

Fans of BTAS should do well to watch this episode, as Swamp Thing is voiced by Mark Hamill, who voiced the Joker in BTAS, and of course, is well known for being Mr Luke Skywalker on the Star Wars franchise (not to mention C*ckKnocker in Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back, noich!.)

If the video isn’t enough of a teaser for you, you can go ahead and take a gander at the high quality image stills. It’s full of pictures of Grundy, Batman, and Swamp Thing. I think I also saw Zatanna and Constantine in there somewhere – we all love Constantine, right? Even though we all did nothing when the live action series got cancelled (as opposed to, I dunno – hurling a few hexes or sending a few techdemons to the network responsible for the cancellation.)
