Kevin Kliesch reveals secrets from Cartoon Network's ThunderCats score

A little more than a month ago, Cartoon Network revived one of the 1980s most popular cartoons, the ThunderCats, with an all new take on the original series. Instead of just re-releasing the Lorimar and Telepictures classic, Cartoon Network developed an entirely remade serialized story, with reimagined takes on every character and setting, from Lion-O to the Sword of Omens. Also new is the toon’s in-depth musical score, starring the brilliance of orchestrator Kevin Kliesch. Recently, Mark Morton from the Examiner got to sit down with the audio hero, to get some insight into his creations. How did he get selected? Where did the cinematic vibe come from? Only the composer (ThunderPoser?) knows for sure!
