SundayToz Preps a New Cartoon Network Mobile Game


Fresh off the success of the puzzle game We Bare Bears Match3 Repairs (netting 6.5 million downloads globally, with high engagement and retention), South Korean developer SundayToz is once again teaming up with Turner for a new mobile game based on a Cartoon Network property.

The difference this time around is that it is not just single property. According to the recent announcement, a new mobile game is in the works and it will feature characters from a wide range of Cartoon Network properties. The concept has not been revealed yet, but it is said to include characters from The Powerpuff Girls, Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, and We Bare Bears, among others. The app is scheduled for an Asia Pacific launch in the first quarter of 2020.

“Our two companies have already demonstrated great synergy by combining world-class game development and hugely popular IP,” commented Phil Nelson, Turner’s Managing Director of North Asia. “We are confident we will launch another popular mobile game, and further build on our relationship and experience.”
