When you get Andrea Romano, James Tucker and Jay Oliva together for a DC/Warner Bros animated project, it’s bound to be brilliant. Having worked together on previous animated films like Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Parts 1 & 2, and the Flashpoint Paradox, they are now bringing their newest masterpiece, Justice League: War, to Digital Home Video, Blu-ray, and DVD. The Digital version is already available, while the other versions will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, February 4, 2014, in stores everywhere.

Welcome to Flashpoint Paradox Week on ToonBarn!

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox

Well, the day has finally arrived! For those of you who weren’t able to go to San Diego Comic-Con, TODAY is the first time Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox has ever been available on DVD or Blu-Ray. I highly recommend Blu-Ray, if you weren’t already leaning in that direction. Some of you may have already downloaded the movie from iTunes, when it became available on the digital format on July 19th (or 20th, depending on your timezone).

People who are still miffed about losing Green Lantern: The Animated Series (I know some of you are already in the process of recovering, mainly because Teen Titans Go! is such an enjoyable show even if it’s in a different genre) will have something to soothe the pain a little bit, as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has recently released Green Lantern: The Animated Series – Manhunter Menace on DVD. So that you can relieve key parts of the series in the privacy and comfort of your own home (or wherever you want. DVDs are not that heavy so you can bring it along anywhere you want).

New Green Lantern: The Animated Series Clips - Love is a Battlefield

Warner Bros. has just released a couple of new clips and a bunch of images for this week’s episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series, titled “Love is a Battlefield.” The episode (which bears the same title as a Pat Benatar song) looks to be the show’s tribute to Valentines, as it deals with a subject familiar to all of us: Love. Except in the Green Lantern universe, the power of love isn’t always positive especially when wielded by a Zamaron, or when influencing an evil supercomputer.

In “Love is a Battlefield,” the evil Aya Monitor invaded the planet Zamaron by herself, blaming the Star Sapphires for the pain she feels from her heartbreak. Carol Ferris is once again summoned in order to represent Love in a battle against the champion of Hate: Red Lantern’s Atrocitus. You can check out the clips and images below:

A couple of new clips have been released for this week’s episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series, titled “Babel,” which will air this coming Saturday, February 9 as part of Cartoon Network’s DC Nation programming block @ 10:00 AM ET/PT.

In Babel, the ever-loving trio of Hal, Kilowog, and Razer accidentally crash-lands on a planet with a poisonous atmosphere. What’s worse, their power rings are already nearly depleted. Their only hope of survival is to seek refuge in a nearby domed city, which is completely overrun by thieves and hooligans. The trio are all capable even without their power rings, but teamwork will be a little bit tough if they can’t understand each other.

New Green Lantern: The Animated Series Clip – Loss

New Green Lantern: The Animated Series Clip - Loss

Warner Bros. has just released a couple of teaser clips and a bunch of preview images for this week’s episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series, titled “Loss.” This week, we get a chance to pick up where the events of last week’s action-packed episode left off, with the heroes attending a rebuilding ceremony between the Guardians and the Red Lanterns on their capitol, Ysmault. However, the fragile state of peace between the two sides is threatened when a malfunctioning manhunter appears.

You can watch the clips and look at the images below, with the first clip being action-heavy as the lanterns deal with a bunch of manhunters attacking their ship, while the second one being a little more lighthearted as they try to dismantle a malfunctioning manhunter, only to be caught in the act and mistaken for an invading force.
