Robot Chicken Season 8 and RCDC3: Magical Friendship Interviews

You’ll get to see the Justice League multiverse explode in this one, which gives us a chance to see the Batman and Robin from the 60’s TV show, as well as the Batmobile. Batman and Superman will also have to go to counseling to improve their friendship. This special is the perfect kick-off for the hilarious Season 8 that follows.

Adult Swim Releases Robot Chicken Season Finale Trailer

Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block has just released a new trailer for the upcoming season seven finale of stop-motion comedy series Robot Chicken. The season finale is scheduled to air this coming Sunday, August 17 at 11:30 pm.

The season 7 finale is still a few days away but fans can now get a sneak peek at the chaos and hilarity that will ensue via an action-blockbuster style episode that has the mad scientist being turned into a cyborg in order to join forces with his mechanized poultry experiment.

Adult Swim Pilot From Robot Chicken Team Currently In Production

The Team Unicorn Saturday Action Fun Hour! pilot for Adult Swim has been cast and is currently in production. Danger Maiden Productions’ Clare Grant and Rileah Vanderbilt will executive produce and star alongside original Team Unicorn member Milynn Sarley (How I Met Your Mother) and Alison Haislip (Attack of the Show) as both Team Unicorn and their cartoon counterparts. Jane Lynch (Glee) voices the villainous Dark Puba, Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory) voices her sidekick, Chummy Cherub, Tara Strong (The Fairly Odd Parents) voices Billy, the boy with the ability to summon Team Unicorn, and Kevin Shinick (Mad) is the show’s announcer, a staple of the cartoon shows that inspired the pilot.

Robot Chicken Delivers Another DC Comics Special on April

Fans of Robot Chicken’s hilarious take on the DC Comics Universe will have something to look forward to, as the hit comedy series will be returning to Adult Swim on April 6th, Sunday, at 11:30 PM (ET/PT) armed with a new half-hour special titled Robot Chicken DC Comics Special II: Villains in Paradise.

In Robot Chicken DC Comics Special II: Villains in Paradise, it’s the villains’ time to control the narrative, with their unpredictable tale taking viewers to various locations – from the swamps to the sky, to the beach, where they finally come face to face with a mind-boggling threat to their very existence.

ToonBarn’s Marc Morrell had the honor of interviewing Matt Senreich and Breckin Meyer at New York Comic Con, prior to the Robot Chicken panel, which packed Stage 1-D at the Javits Center on Friday, October 11, 2013.

Matt Senreich, as most of you know, is the Co-Creator and Executive Producer of Robot Chicken, which is now entering its 7th season on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. With his business partner, Seth Green, they run a production company called Stoopid Monkey. In addition to Robot Chicken, Senreich has also created Titan Maximum (with Tom Root) and the currently sidelined Star Wars Detours. In 2010, Senreich received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program.

Breckin Meyer is currently playing Jared Franklin on TNT’s Franklin & Bash, now in its 3rd season. When he’s not on the Franklin & Bash set, he continues to provide voice and writing credits for Robot Chicken. Meyer was nominated for an Emmy for his writing on “Robot Chicken: Star Wars”. Meyer has also been in several movies over the years such as Go, 54, Clueless, Road Trip, and Kate and Leopold. Meyer created the TBS Comedy Series, Men at Work, in 2012.

The Robot Chicken DC Comics Special will be available on July 9, 2013, with a plethora of DC Comics sketch comedy parodies in an all-new Adult Swim Blu-ray and DVD release. Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, in partnership with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, adds to its existing repertoire of themed specials, like the previously released Robot Chicken Star Wars Trilogy. This particular special, which boasts an all-star cast as well as some of the classic characters Robot Chicken fans have grown to love, provides a hilarious take on some of the most iconic superheroes from the DC Comics universe.

The special’s all-star cast includes series co-creator and executive producer Seth Green as Batman, Robin and the put-upon Aquaman; Neil Patrick Harris as Two-Face; Alfred Molina as Lex Luthor; Nathan Fillion as the Green Lantern; Megan Fox as Lois Lane; series and special writer/voice talent Breckin Meyer as Superman, plus Abe Benrubi, Alex Borstein, Clare Grant, Tara Strong, series co-creator and executive producer Matthew Senreich, series co-head writer/co-executive producer Tom Root, series director Zeb Wells and Kevin Shinick as co-producer, writer and narrator.
