Warner Bros releases Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare and Scooby-Doo! And the Spooky Swamp

Scooby-Doo, where are you? Well, actually, he’s here. And here. And here, and here, and here! Lately, it seems like “the Doo” is all over the place. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has the crew featured in an upcoming video game called Scooby-Doo! And the Spooky Swamp to be released later this year. The timing of the game’s release perfectly coincides with the newest upcoming animated movie, Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare. This newest animated toon DVD will be the 15th in Scooby’s 40 year history, which has spanned nearly 300 episodes in its television series.

Scooby-Doo and those meddling kids are heading back to Cartoon Network for yet another made-for-TV movie, the new Warner Premiere live-action CG animated hybrid Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster. The Atlas Entertainment movie is set to debut on Cartoon Network this fall, shortly followed by a Blu-ray and DVD release from Warner Home Entertainment in early 2011. Curse of the Lake Monster is a follow-up to last year’s TV movie, Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins, which was the most watched telecast in Cartoon Network’s history. With the overwhelming success, it’s no mystery why they’re bringing back the original cast; Robbie Amell, Kate Melton, Hayley Kiyoko, Nick Palatas, and Animation Picture Company’s CG animated Scooby.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment plans to release a new Scooby video game, Scooby-Doo! First Frights, at the same time of the Warner Premiere movie later this year. You get to take on the role of a young Scooby-Doo and kid versions of the Mystery, Inc. crew and help solve their first cases. Look for this game in the fall for Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and PlayStation 2.

Cartoon Network and Warner Premiere are teaming up to bring us a whole new movie about Scooby Doo and the Mystery Inc, gang, though it’s not a sequel, it’s a prequel! Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins is a live-action film about how those “meddling kids” all got together and formed their super sleuthing team.
