DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year SDCC Interviews


Sunday at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) was Family and Kids day and it was our busiest day of the entire Con. Everyone was up bright and early for DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year. Although we were unable to attend the panel, we were able to interview members of the voice cast, including Grey Griffin (Wonder Woman), Tara Strong (Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy), Teala Dunn (Bumblebee), Anais Fairweather (Supergirl) and Stephanie Sheh (Katana). Also interviewed were Cecilia Aranovich (Director) and Jennifer Coyle (Producer).

DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year, Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, was released August 9 on Digital HD and will be released August 23, 2016 on DVD. The movie takes a look at how Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Bumblebee, Poison Ivy and Katana face the trials and tribulation of everyday life at Super Hero High. Watch DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year, and discover if the girls are able to thwart Black Opal’s evil plan and how each of the teens learn how to be a hero each and every day. Also, watch for guest appearances by other DC Super Heroes along the way.

I am a Big Fan of all types of animation. Like a lot of things, the cream always rises to the top. My favorites have included Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Rebels, anything Pixar, Phineas and Ferb, Voltron Legendary Defender, and the DC/WB Animated Films. I have a lot of Old School favorites as well, such as Star Blazers, Voltron, Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, and Scooby Doo.
