Cast of Big Hero 6 Series Revealed

Disney XD’s new 2D series adaptation of its runaway success, Oscar-winning Marvel Comics movie Big Hero 6 will have a lot of its original cast members come back when it debuts in2017, which will be joined by two fresh voices.
Reprising their roles are Jamie Chung as speed genius, no-nonsense Go Go, Maya Rudolph as Aunt Cass, Alan Tudyk as tech guru Alistair Krei, Scott Adsit as the huggable robot Baymax, Genesis Rodriguez as quirky scientist Honey Lemon, Ryan Potter as tech genius Hiro, David Shaughnessy as the butler Heathcliff and the legendary Stan Lee as Fred’s father. Khary Payton (The Lion Guard) will also be joining the voice cast as Wasabi as well as Brooks Wheelan (Saturday Night Live) as Fred.

The series is executive produced by Emmy winners Bob Schooley, Marck McCorkle and Nick Filippi (Kim Possible). Nick Filippi will also be the supervising director on the Disney Television Animation production.

Big Hero 6 series starts right away after the events of the movie, continuing the friendship and adventures of Hiro, the 14-year-old tech genius and Baymax, his kind-hearted, cutting-edge robot. With their friends Honey Lemon, wasabi, Fred and Go Go, they develop the high-tech superhero team Big Hero 6 in order to defend the city from a collection of scientifically enhanced villains.

Additional guest cast features Andrew Scott (Sherlock) as villain Obake, Jenifer Lewis (black-ish) as strict Professor Granville, Diedrich Bader (American Housewife) as Bluff Dunder, comedian Andy Richter as Globby, Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs) as Richardson Mole, Susan Sullivan (Castle) as Fred’s mother, Haley Tju (Bella and Bulldogs) as classmate Karmi and John Ross Bowie (Speechless) as Mel.
