Disney Channel previews new show Amphibia

Gravity Falls may be long over, but its influence on Disney Channel isn’t. Alum Matt Braly is set to launch his own new animated series on the network this summer. Titled Amphibia, the company has started streaming a sneak peek on its YouTube channel:

After stealing a mysterious music box, 13-year-old, Anne Boonchuy is magically transported to the world of Amphibia, a wild marshland full of talking frog-people. With the help of an excitable young frog named Sprig, Anne will transform from monster to hero and discover the first true friendship of her life!

As part of last weekend’s Disney FanFest, Disney also released a music video featuring the show’s closing theme song performed by Celica Westbrook.

Produced by Disney Television Animation, the series stars Brenda Song (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) as Anne. Justin Felbinger, who you might know as Miles from Disney Junior’s Miles from Tomorrowland, voices Sprig.
