Disney World Prepping a Frozen Attraction
Fans of Disney’s take on the Snow Queen fairy tale still can’t let it go (I had to get that in somewhere in the post,) and are looking for more content and experiences based on Frozen. With the animated short on the way, Frozen fans will get another goodie via a new major attraction being prepped at the Epcot theme park at Disney World in Florida.
“We’ve made Frozen a part of the guest experience in a number of ways already and our guests have both loved them and asked for more,” says Tom Staggs, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. “So I’m pleased to say that we’re starting construction at Walt Disney World Resort on a brand new Frozen attraction at the Norway Pavilion in Epcot.”
The planned Frozen attraction will be replacing the Maelstrom attraction and will be promoted as a way for fans to relive the most memorable moments and music from the film. The pavilion will also feature a royal greeting location where they can meet Anna and Elsa.
There is currently no word on when the attraction will open.
