DuckTales Title Sequence Teased

One of the most memorable – and beloved! – parts of Disney’s DuckTales series was its title sequence, no doubt owed to the infectious theme song. So with Disney XD gearing up to revive the franchise with a new animated series via an hour long special on August 12 and two back-to-back episodes on September 23, fans are most definitely interested in a peek at the new title sequence.

Never one to miss out on an opportunity to get fans hyped up, Disney XD has released a clip of the Ducktales title sequence online, and while it’s different from the original, we are glad to say that it captures a similar, infectious feel to it and will be good enough to any one who isn’t hobbled too much by nostalgia glasses:

Based on the Emmy Award-winning series treasured by a generation of viewers, Disney XD’s animated comedy-adventure series “DuckTales” chronicles the high-flying adventures of Duckburg’s most famous trillionaire Scrooge McDuck, his mischief-making triplet grandnephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, temperamental nephew Donald Duck and the trusted McDuck Manor team: big-hearted, fearless chauffer/pilot Launchpad McQuack, no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley and Mrs. Beakley’s granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack, resident adventurer and the triplet’s newfound fierce friend.
