Big Tent Entertainment Gets 2 New DOMO Fashion Licensing Deals
Fashion’s not really the first thing that comes into your mind when you think of Domo-kun. Heck, the guy is practically naked, what kind of fashion will come out of the NHK Mascot? Well, leave it to Big Tent Entertainment to find companies that are interested in our favorite little brown mascot, with two new fashion licensing deals for Domo in the US successfully inked.
First up is Modify Watches, which plans to launch a new line of wearable timepieces (wristwatches, duh.) featuring Domo designs, with interchangeable silicone straps in multiple colors. The Domo-kun watches can be a great fashion statement when worn, as if to say “There’s always time, for Domo-kun time.” (sorry for the bad tagline, there’s a reason why I’m not working for Modify Watches as a copywriter).
The next company to sign a Domo fashion licensing program is H2W, which plans to create a new collection of Domo costume jewelry. The jewelry line will feature products for both men and women, and will include bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings made out of metal and plastic.
The new Domo fashion accessories are slated to debut beginning this May 2012.
