Want more Domo? I mean… don’t we all want more Domo? Thanks to the good folks at Big Tent Entertainment and Home Made Licensing, we’re going to get just that. That is, at least the folks in France. As part of the agreement, Home Made Licensing (HML) will bring all sorts of products and hype for the lovable, furry little monster as the character splashes across Europe.
The official mascot of Japan’s NHK television station, Domo-kun appeared in a number of stop motion animated clips, featuring the originally-unnamed character in a number of different adventures. He hatched from an egg over a decade ago, and has become one of the most explosive, viral characters of all time – even working his way west to appear across Nickelodeon airwaves.
As angry as he looks, Domo products and stuffed figures are collected hardcore, raved about as lovable and huggable – as long as you don’t feed him apples.
