Free Flash Game – Domo Kun Angry Smash Fest

Free Flash Game - Domo Kun Angry Smash Fest

Domo Kun Angry Smash Fest is what would happen if you put a truckload of kick butt into a blender – you’ve got Domo-kun himself, SHMUPs, Altered Beast’s “RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE” schtick, Ed-209 from Robocop, parodies of scenes from Cinderella, and the Power Puff Girls as villains. Couple that with an infectious heavy metal music score and you’ve got yourself a free flash game that is more fun than other so-called “commercial games”.

Despite having the same control scheme (arrow keys to move, A to attack), each level of Domo-Kun Angry Smash Fest has varied play mechanics – from classic beat em up, to whack a mole, to sidescrolling SHMUP, each of the stages gives you a chance to wreak havoc as Domo Kun, in games that will remind you of retro classics from the 16 and 8 bit era. Just a fair warning, though – like most games from that era, Domo-Kun is very challenging. The stages are not impossible to beat, but the difficulty level is a bit on the high side. It’s a good thing the game provides infinite continues.

You can play the game from your browser by visiting its page at Newgrounds, or you can download the game and play it straight from your hard disk.
