Fisher Price Launches Fantastic Gymnastics Dora Doll
Fisher-Price has recently teamed up with Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin and Nickelodeon to develop and launch the new interactive Fantastic Gymnastics Dora doll. Based on Nickelodeon’s hit preschool show Dora the Explorer.
The Fantastic Gymnastics Dora doll is capable of performing two gymnastics routines, consisting of seven distinct moves that include splits, handstands, and back bends. The doll aims to teach the importance of teamwork and imaginative roleplaying for K3+ as they coach Dora throughout her practice and routine performance.
The Fantastic Gymnastics Dora doll also comes with 40 plus phrases in both English and Spanish, as well as one special teamwork song. The doll will be launched through US retailers such as Toys R S, Target, Walmart, and Kmart and fisherprice.com this August 2012 at the MSRP of $49.99. In support of the doll, a Fantastic Gymnastics Dora augmented reality app will also be launched on the apple App Store this August.
