Classic Dragonball Z Battles Reanimated Through Flipbooks

Flipbook animation is probably one of the most commonly used methods of bringing characters to animated life these days, as it doesn’t require any equipment outside of a thick book and a drawing implement, and can be done anywhere – particularly during a boring lecture or during lunch break.

While most of the flipbook animation out there is rough and consists mainly of stick figures, there are real gems that manage to come out of the woodwork from time to time. Case in point, Youtuber etoilec1, who was able to recreate classic fight scenes from Dragon Ball Z with flipbook animation.

Here’s one featuring SSJ3 Goku fighting Kid Buu:

…and here’s another one with Broly and Vegeta:

If the two videos above left you wanting more, you can check out a couple more on etoilec1’s Youtube channel: www.youtube.com/user/etoilec1, be sure to encourage him into doing a full episode.
