Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden Gets an Official Release Date

The May issue of V Jump magazine reveals that Arc System Works’ 2D Dragon Ball Z fighting game, dubbed Extreme Butouden, has been given an official release date. According to the magazine, the 3DS fighter will be released for the Japanese market on June 11, 2015. The game was originally announced with a summer 2015 release window.

Fans who are fast with their wallet will also get something real cool: the first print copies of Extreme Butouden includes a Dragon Ball Disk Cross disk that contains Frieza his yellow form. If you have no idea what that is, you better check out the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatu no F movie, because that’s where Frieza will do his big return (and powerup!) Additionally, the disk will also include a download code that Super Famicom game Dragon Ball Z Cho Butouden 2 on your 3DS and a special Fukkatsu no F Goku card for Dragon Ball Heroes.
