Arguably the only complaint fans ever had with regard to Arc System Works’ much-anticipated 3DS 2D fighter Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden is that it was announced only for Japan. It was a very big problem for Western fans because the 3DS is region-locked, so no – unless they plan on importing the console itself, Extreme Butouden was pretty much a no-no.
Thankfully, a new announcement from Bandai Namco Games allays EU and NA fans’ fears of being left out – as the 2D fighting game is said to be making its way to Europe, Middle East, and Australasia on October 16, followed by North America on October 20.
