With Arc System Works’ 2D Dragon Ball Z fighting game for the 3DS, Extreme Butouden, due next month, publisher Bandai Namco Games has seen it fit to release an extended gameplay trailer that shows off several bouts. The commentary is in Japanese, but it still lets you get your first full look at an actual full match, instead of being limited to mere glimpses.
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden looks like it’s poised to marry Arc System Works’ trade mark 2D competitive fighting game mechanics with all the pomp and pageantry one would expect from a Dragon Ball Z game. At the very least, Extreme Butouden may give us the first DBZ game that’s fit for fighting game tournaments and competitions. You can check out the video below:
