Play Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden for Free

Bandai Namco and Arc System Works’ Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden for the 3DS won’t be out until October, but if you want a chance to play the 2D fighter right now, you can do so because a special demo has been released via the Nintendo eShop.

Of course, since it’s just a demo, you’re not going to get the full experience. But it should be enough to give you a feel for the controls and to see how it really looks like in your hands. You’re not going to get all 120 characters and you most likely won’t get the free copy of the SNES classic Super Botouden 2.

If you’re still unable to get the demo for some reason, such as not having a Nintendo 3DS to your name (we recommend joining Toonbarn’s 3DS giveaway, if this is the case), you can still get a glimpse of the game in action via the newly released demo trailer:
