The looming end (or rather, hiatus) of the Dragon Ball Super anime will be a sad day for Dragon Ball fans every where, but the pain is somewhat dulled by the knowledge that it gives way to another Dragon Ball Super full-length anime movie, which is not only special because of Akira Toriyama’s direct involvement in the script and character design, but also because directorial duties will be handled by One Piece Film Z’s Tatsuya Nagamine.
As for what the movie will be about, details are still sparse but Bandai Namco Entertainment has recently unveiled a teaser during their 2018 lineup presentation. It features a hint at what Goku will be facing. The movie is slated for a worldwide release on December 14, 2018. You can check out the teaser below:
