With Dragon Ball Z Kai only a few weeks away from its November 8 premiere on Adult Swim’s Toonami, a new video ad has been posted designed to tease fans and show them what’s in store. You can check out the video below:
Dragon Ball Z Kai will be replacing Bleach on its Toonami slot. The series is known for condensing the entire 1989-1996 run of the Dragon Ball Z anime series by removing filler episodes and scenes, thereby improving pacing and bringing it more closely to Akira Toriyama’s original manga. Kai also features a few modern updates to its bells and whistles, including digital HD remaseting, a re-recorded soundtrack, as well as a few key scenes getting a re-animated refresh. The 2009-2011 run of Kai covered the Saiyan Saga all the way to the Cell Saga, the “new age of Kai” will include the Majin Buu Saga.
