At Percy Julian Middle School in Oak Park Illinois, Principal Victoria Sharts has banned hugging, not just for at times being unwanted or inappropriate but because it can make you [b:032fb][i:032fb]llate [/i:032fb][/b:032fb]for class.
"The goal is always to promote safe and orderly hallways where everybody can get by, be safe, and be on time."
So remember if your running to class, squeezing through crowded hallways. No hugging your books as you run, at least not in Oak Park. " title="Wink" />

How stupid.. I'm a big hugger... that wouldn't pan out well if it happened at my school.

For me, such innovations look very strange. After all, before voicing the new rules, it seems to me that almost no one thought that hugs could harm anyone in this way at school. And I do not believe that this is blindness to reality, which they write about at https://freebooksummary.com/king-lear-comparison-of-gloucester-and-king-lear-70556 analysing a literary work. I’m even glad that I read King Lear since the comparison of Gloucester and King Lear helped me to look at the situation from different perspectives. But still, I think that this is not a necessary school rule.
