Hmm seems like you didnt think about the artist perspective. =/ Ah well thats just about the majority. And majority of the time the CG artists dont draw, they have drawers and then they hand it to them. I alslo left out the other types of "CG" like sculpting b/c its true art. I could bring in another person to the conversation to explain this. . but I'm not. Anyway I would like you to re-read what I said before and think about it.B/c I'm not going to repeat myself, and copy and paste (to explain more) is a pain in the butt XD
And about the E-mail thing. If that person died what would have more meaning and value? I'll explain;
1. Its apart of the person, that person held it last, has their personality (handwriting) even their sent could be on it (some people put on to much perfume lol) etc etc
2. E-mail its all the same, typing isnt something valuable, rather as valuable maybe b/c that person couldnt see them in time (didnt have the adress or w/e reason) and wrote them in e-mails, so thats understandable. Its written in their own words but its digital, pixels. Pixels dont have much meaning.(I just asked a friend and he said the handwritten one, even though he has a last e-mail from someone. But hes happy though b/c at least he has something from the person that died. He said it would have been better if handwritten but the e-mail is all he has.)
3. People dont take the time to write b/c they want everything faster. People should write a letter once in a while instead of using a computer all the time. I think the story of "The tortoise and the hare" should be read again to people these days.
I'm basically stating this b/c people DONT see the value in things anymore. . rather true value and hard work. People (especially in America) take things for granted, until something is gone or someone has died then they will have regrets.
And sorry about that Purple girl, this one is a bit shorter. X3

Well I like to write emails more because I have terrible awful handwriting lol but yeah I understand where your going there and I hate when people are obsessed on wanting everything to be faster I don't care how fast anything is as long as it doesn't take 2 hours to load or download something like my old computer I used to have>_< but I still think the rabbit would have won if he didn't stop and take a nap lol

Lol I agree with that, as long as I can get it done on time. .
Things need to start being appreciated, old style and new style.

Thinking about it more, I realized something: Traditional versus Digital just might be the latest in a long history of conflict among artists. In just the last thousand years, art has seen heated debate(that sometimes devolved into petty bickering) on such issues as:
-Religious versus Secular subject matter.
-High Society versus the Common Man as subject matter.
-Painting versus Sculpture as the greater medium.
-Realistic Art versus Stylized Art.
-Painting versus Photography.
-Representational versus Abstract.
And probably several other I have forgotten about. For all these, as with the issue of Traditional versus Digital, my stance is ultimately one of neutrality, being appreciative of works on both sides as well as works that blur the lines. I enjoy the works of those who build upon the works of the past, but I also applaud those who take risks and defy conventions.
As for the Tortoise and the Hare: The Hare's undoing was his own hubris, thinking his skill meant effort was unneeded. You can be the best in the world, but nothing will ever come of it unless you put your gifts to use.

Abstract is not even. . . I'm not even going to go there. . .
I like CG but you already know what i'm going to say. I just think its people that dont know nothing about certain genre of things (*cough media *cough *hipsters) then they make it a part of it. lol like when I went to SF MOMA. they had a gallery of sexual and naked pictures. . im like dude. . thats not even art photography. . people are getting lazy these days and not putting up what should be put up. I just find people horribly ignorant these days. . including the ones in SF (sorry to some of those who live in SF that arent, no offense)
And the moral to that story for me is that if things are rushed you wont get it done in the right way. lol
