Futurama Will End with a Live-Stream Chat
We’re only days away from the dreaded yet much-awaited Futurama season finale. Fortunately for fans, the creators refuse to let the long-running animated sci-fi series to go out with a whimper, as they will be capping off the franchise with pre and post-show live stream chats on September 4 (the final episode itself will air at 10 PM)
Dubbed “Futurama Live!,” the chats with creator Matt Groening and executive producer David X. Cohen will start at 9:30 EST / 6:30 PST via Comedy Central’s Futurama page (www.cc.com/shows/futurama) as well as the Nerdist Youtube channel. Groening and Cohen will be joined by moderator Chris Hardwick (of Nerdist) as well as voice cast members Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr, and Lauren Tom.
After the series finale, co-exec producer Patric M. Verrone and supervising director Peter Avanzino will join the chat in order to address fan reactions to the series’ conclusions, and will also discuss behind-the-scenes details. They will also answer fan-submitted questions, which can be submitted by sending it as a tweet to @ComedyCentral.
