Arc System Works interested in making a Blazblue Anime along with its 3rd game
In a recent interview with Japanese gaming magazine Gemaga, Toshimichi Mori of Arc System Works has expressed interest in making a 3rd installment in the HD 2D fighter Blazblue series. Mori (who served as producer and director in Blazblue and its predecessor, Guilty Gear) states that the 3rd game in the series will have a title that features an actual number, and will have significant updates instead of just tweaks and minor additions like the upcoming Continuum Shift Extend.
Mori also stated that he is interested in seeing an anime made based on the Blazblue series of games, and has even left hints that studio producers should contact him. If you’re wondering whether Blazblue would work as an anime, all you need to do is check out the intro and extra videos from any recent Blazblue game as well as the ones from Guilty Gear. If you didn’t know better, you’d think that you’re watching something that came from an actual series.
