The first trailer for DC/Warner’s fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us was just a cinematic trailer, and didn’t offer much in the way of story or movelist. The new trailer shown in time for E3 2012, on the other hand, is all about looking at the game’s characters and the moves at their disposal, or at least, six of the game’s characters and the moves at their disposal:
According to the developers, Injustice: Gods Among Us will use the Mortal Kombat reboot’s engine, with some tweaks in order to facilitate hardcore competitive gameplay. The trailer didn’t show any actual in-game footage, but it did provide enough info to get the differences between the characters. One thing that has us concerned is the seemingly thin roster. We hope they’re really not planning on having only 6 playable characters for the release, especially in this day and age when 16 characters is considered weak.
