The first Epic Mickey on the Wii didn’t get as much success in terms of sales, despite being critically lauded and receiving good reviews. Disney, Warren Spector, and co. seem to be chalking this up to a fluke as they are once again ready to revisit the franchise in Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, but this time they’re going to go multiplatform, as the game will be released for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii. There will also be a 3DS port that will be a 2D sidescroller instead of 3D platformer.
Release date for Epic Mickey: The Power of Two is November 18.
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two picks up where the first one left off. The Mad Doctor, whom Mickey defeated, has returned to the wasteland, but he claims to have turned a new leaf and offers to work with Oswald and the residents of Wasteland in order to repair the damages he has done. However, Waste Land starts to get worse and the Mad Doctor’s offer is called into question. The residents of Wasteland decide to contact Mickey once again and ask for his help in uncovering the truth.
