Today’s free flash game is a cool side scrolling shooter based on the hit cartoon network show Generator Rex. Entitled Providence Defender, the game puts you in control of Rex, who must team up with Bobo in order to rescue agents from an outbreak of vicious flying EVOs.
To get around the city while looking for civilians in need of rescuing, you need to make use of Rex’s Boogie Pack, while Bobo gets busy blasting any EVO that makes the mistake of getting in your way. In order to rescue a civilian, you need to land, but do it carefully because landing too fast will hurt Rex. You also have to watch out, as the EVOs won’t stop coming at you even if you’re busy rescuing hapless civilians.
