Nuclear Justice is a strange blend of Tower Defense and Beat ‘Em Up, with a visual style that reminds you of the Scott Pilgrim game. The premise is simple: you’re an officer of the law, but underneath the uniform, you’re also one hell of a glam rock-styled fighting machine. And it’s your job to prevent a large scale prison breakout from being successful.
Basically, you have to use punches to take down waves of prisoners, before they get to the wall behind you. The wall has a health bar, when the enemies succeed in bringing the wall’s health points (or yours) to 0, the walls come down and they escape. Game over.
Not that they’re going to have an easy time. Like any tower defense game, the enemies move slow, and you have an offensive move at your disposal – a series of punches that can be stringed into combos.
