Free Flash Game: Tic Tac Toe
It’s one of the oldest and simplest games in history, but its simplicity is what let it stand the test of time. The mechanics are simple yet addictive: you and your opponent must form a straight line consisting of three of your markers, the line can be diagonal, vertical, or horizontal. You can only drop one marker per turn, so it becomes a contest of strategy – do you block your opponent from completing a line, or do you try to make one on your own?
The AI for the game is decent enough for a slight bit of challenge, but it is not that advanced. It’s easy to beat once you recognize the patterns of its moves. Here’s a tip: if you go first, you can go on the offensive and try to complete a line. Assuming that you do everything right, you’ll be able to complete a line first. But when the computer goes first, you need to be on the defensive and block its attempts at creating a line. You won’t be able to complete a line if it went first.
