Injustice: Gods Among Us Adds 2 New Characters
If you’ve seen our other posts regarding the upcoming fighting game based on DC characters, Injustice: Gods Among Us, you’ll know that one of our main concerns with the trailers released so far is that it made it look like there’s only 6 playable characters (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Solomon Grundy, and Harlequin).
The concerns about the roster count is no longer valid, as Warner Bros and DC Entertainment have revealed 2 additional characters at their SDCC booth (#1915), namely Nightwing and Cyborg, which brings the total character count to 8.
8 characters is still way too low for a modern fighting game, but it seems the devs are now aware that their demos give people the impression of a thin roster, having confirmed at the SDCC that more characters will be added along the way, giving us a lot of choices by the time the game rolls out for the Xbox 360, Wii U, and PS3 next year.
